By request, ‘Toot Toot USA’ is an American version of our popular children’s learning app, ‘Toot Toot ABC.’ We’ve added American narration and there’s a couple of new, familiar animals to discover!

To celebrate the start of Baseball season in the US, Canada, Mexico and South Korea, iTunes has put together a collection of baseball apps to be featured on their games page – and look who popped up!
Yep, that’s Penny Parlor right beside a whole bunch of huge baseball games, and it’s pretty exciting. Happy Baseball season to you all (and we hope you had a happy Easter as well!)

There are a lot of kids these days between all of us at the Games Lab office. So we figured – why not release something just for them to start out the new year? With adorable artwork and some awesome sounds, Toot Toot ABC has already proven itself a hit among our little ones.

Penny Parlor has had an AMAZING week to start November! We had shining reviews from Touch Arcade and Appolicious, have been crowned ‘Indie Game of the Month’ on App Store Arcade, and we were also contacted by Apple US to be featured on the App Store’s Games page (see above!). Penny Parlor is also featured on the front page of the Austrian, German and Swiss App Stores, as well as being New and Noteworthy in the UK, Ireland, Nederland and Australia.
In this week, according to iTunes Connect, we’ve seen a jump in sales of – get ready for this – 14,000%. I’m not even sure I know how we got that number! Needless to say we’re pretty happy that our tiny little homemade game could do so well… hopefully this is only the first great week of many more to come!
iOS 5, iPhone 4S, Siri… It’s all going on in the Apple world right now. And here’s something else – Right now, Bomba and Penny Parlor are sitting happily in the App Store with their shiny new coats on. Oh yes – Bomba and Penny Parlor are now UNIVERSAL apps that look beautiful on both your iPhone and iPad. There’s also TWO MORE (count ‘em) fabulous bonuses!
1 – Bomba and Penny Parlor are both outfitted with shiny new Game Center additions to check your high scores against your friends
2 – After many requests, Bomba is updated with NINE (9) whole new levels, as well as new bomb and a new ‘bouncy’ powerball!

Greetings and welcome to the Games Lab Apps homepage! My name is Ally, and I’ll be your hostess for this journey into cyberspace.
Our small teams are putting their final touches on a bunch of games at the moment that we’re hoping to start releasing over the next few months. Meanwhile, I’ll be constantly pestering them to let me see what’s happening so I can share it all with you. I’m planning on being a frustratingly constant presence on our Twitter and Facebook as well, just to make sure nobody’s ideas and questions go unheard. (It’s okay. The Powers That Be let me eat at my desk, and they occasionally provide pizza, so it’s not all slave-driving.)
Anyway – I’m glad you’re here. I promise the posts to come will be filled with much more intriguing and enlightening content to keep your lunch break/commute/toilet time busy.
